Abstract

The aim of this research paper is to put forward a review of employee's issues especially sexual harassment at the place of work in public sectors. Sexual harassment is a type of unfairness on basis of sex that infringes the human rights to fairness in the place of work. It is certainly very inopportune to know that such a matter is still occurring in an uncontrolled way at the moment. In this paper, background of employee's issues and sexual harassment will be first cleared. Moreover, importance will be put on the main topic of this research, that is, sexual harassment at the workplace. We will also inspect types of harassment happens and their impact on the workers. In conclusion, the probable solutions to fight this matter at the place of work will be given.

The issues of public employees' wages, health related benefits, pension related problems, and issues related to harassment, pressure and maltreatment and other forms of issues are the main topics for issues employees encounter at workplace (n.d.). These behaviors necessitate administration interest for the reason that they can destroy the workplace atmosphere, can present lawful or accountability issues, and may be predecessors to severe physical arguments. Violent behaviors can occur in any workplace of governmental organizations. The employees of public sector organizations experience munificent benefits in contrast to the private sector employees. However, the employees of public sectors are facing many critical issues like sexual and verbal harassment, stress, unbalance pay system, age and gender discrimination and so on.
