Introduction

Zheng He (AD 1371-1435) was a great navigator in the world history. He is also the pioneer of the world's maritime history. He was responsible for the fleet of Ming the same one deployed across Africa almost a century before the European expeditions. Zheng led more than two hundred and forty ships, twenty seven thousand four hundred crew members of a large fleet of the voyage, and visited more than 30 places in the western Pacific and Indian Ocean countries and regions to enhance the Ming Empire and the South China Sea (now Southeast Asia).
