Introduction

Crime is voluntary action to seriously injure or kill someone. The person carrying out this type of action is called criminal. Sometimes the term is used to define crime a felony and generally reprehensible wrongdoing. Many believe that separating small children from their parents is a crime. From the point of view of law, crime is a conduct, act or omission typified by the law is unlawful and punishable (Harris, 2002, 128). A crime, therefore, violates the criminal law. The concept is linked to the crime, although this word has an etymological origin that refers to "abandon" the path established by law. Crime, therefore, often used in a generic sense and crime reserves to refer to a serious crime or a crime against offensive people.

Serious Crime

A crime is an act . Act in criminal law is understood as an act of conduct of a man who can be both active (action), and in the passive form ( inaction ), able to cause various harmful, dangerous consequences for society: physical, moral and material damage to the person, a violation proper functioning of economic institutions, environmental damage, etc.Sometimes there is confusion about which crimes are considered serious by law. Serious crime can be defined as a felony that is punishable by more than one year imprisonment, or death. A crime that carries a maximum penalty of a monetary fine or a short period of confinement in the local jail is not a serious crime. The harm caused by a crime, not necessarily concrete in the criminal law . Moreover, in some cases, the crime is almost impossible to say who it is, how certain individual interests and welfare of the damage. However, this does not mean that such acts are harmless: public danger may lie in the disruption of the existing order of social relations , breach of the stability of society as a whole. A statute may not be specifically labelled as a serious crime, but the punishment defines the offense as serious. According to serious crime act there are different types of serious crimes:

Fraud

Bribery and corruption

Environmental crime

Human, arms, and drug trafficking

Murder

Rape

Child Sex or prostitution

United Kingdom has established an Act for serious crimes this act was established in 2007 that made various important changes in the English Criminal Law. In other words we can say that it has created a new system of serious crime preventions orders to frustrate crime in Northern Ireland, England, and Wales. According to serious Crime act serious crime are those crimes which are considered to be sufficiently serious to be treated. Serious crimes are usually much organized (Blackstone, 2009, 115). There are serious punishments for serious crimes. The most serious crime in United Kingdom is Felony and in this paper we are going to evaluate murder as a serious crime in United Kingdom.
