Self disclosure, as the name suggests, refers to unveiling information consciously or unconsciously. The information is essentially about oneself and is by nature considered to be private. It is more related to feelings, emotions, grievances, failures, dreams, and wishes. Yet, it can also be something that is embarrassing to disclose openly in the public. It is a form of behavioral interdependence and includes perceptions of the revelation of a partner.
