Self Assessment

There are several aspects of an individual's personality that can be explored through personal or self assessment. Self assessment of an individual is a process that elaborates an individual's skills, abilities and values that assist the learning process followed by individual during his academic career. Moreover, the skills, abilities and values of an individual influence not his academic but also professional career. Different sources argue that an individual must select his professional field as per his interests and skills as this is the only way through which work will become entertainment as the individual will be able to explore contemporary methods of executing his assigned tasks as they are related to his skills and abilities.

Learning is a never ending process. There are different sources through which an individual grasps knowledge in order to enhance his skills and abilities. Furthermore, it can be asserted that knowledge acquired by an individual influences and refines the values followed by an individual. It is often said that not all seas and oceans of knowledge can quench the thirst of learning and knowledge acquisition. I strongly believe this conception as my skills, abilities and interests have been an outcome of my learning and development. The learning grasped by me has been influenced by a never ending knowledge acquisition process facilitated by my tutors, mentors, role models and social circle.

Learning and development is not anything that must be restricted to classrooms and workshops. An individual can learning and develop himself continuously throughout his life via different methods of knowledge acquisition. I strongly believe that brainstorming and practical implementation of concepts are one of the adequate methods of refining an individual's skills and abilities. The process of acquiring education from a recognized institution is mandatory for opening countless doors of opportunities for an individual. However, availability of opportunities is not enough as an individual needs to be competent enough to select an optimal opportunity for range of options available.

I have many interest and they are not restricted to the curricular activities. I am fond of reading books of different kind as I strongly believe that books can be your mentors if you want them to. In addition, I am fond of exploring contemporary ideas and conceptions. The knowledge delivered in classrooms and learning institutions is often restricted by time limit of the class room.
