The beginnings of the committee refers to the American College of Surgeons, and were, therefore, an initiative of the medical profession.  Given the increased complexity of the requirements and coverage areas, gradually other institutions became part of this process of the American Medical Association, the American Hospital Association, representatives of professionals (dentists and nurses) and consumers. Since 1988, the Joint Commission on Hospital Accreditation (JCHA) was renamed as Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), which indicated the expansion of its scope of activities (JCAHO, 2010) .

Initially, the market drove the formation and performance of JCAHO, and the developed model pointed to the self-regulation based on the expectations of the healthcare industry. However, the American reality, the introduction of Medicare and Medicaid changed this picture. The accreditation of service providers to the agreement state, i.e., Medicaid, also happened to be done through evaluation that took into account the criteria set by accrediting organizations that performed. Although, there are other agencies working with similar initiatives, the JCAHO has a membership of an important contingent of health services, both public and private, becoming, in a way, part of the official system (Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, 2006). 

This article aims to address the important question as Hospital Accreditation: Earnings quality in health care. The research problem will be addressed through the following question: What are the gains of health institutions that pass the accreditation process? It is understood that the pursuit of accreditation by healthcare institutions is an ongoing process, and reflects the importance of improving the quality of health and care for their patients (Flynn, Mathis, & Jackson, 2007). The article is justified by the importance of the accreditation system which enables promoting change in routines, procedures and integration of hospital services contributing to increased quality (Breaugh, James and Mary Starke, 2000). Ensuring the quality of these services, it should be ensured by constantly updating and ongoing staff training, as well as an interaction between all areas of the hospital: medical, technological, administrative, economic, healthcare and research sectors.

JCAHO has outlined several details about the job descriptions related to healthcare organizations. Those candidates who want to apply for jobs can also become member of JCAHO in order to get their relevant jobs.

Selection process for your specific health care

Considering above mentioned attributes we focus on such issues which are relevant to selection process such as; graduates from the medical institutes are not much experienced to be selected in order to overcome issues. That is why selection process faces certain issues that are due to the changes of available private practice, dissatisfaction with poorly managed public services, rights of patients, quality and competition in the health care sector.

The overall goal of this paper is to describe the selection and retention process in health organization for the sake of quality of service as a whole (Breaugh, James and Mary Starke, 2000)
