ABSTRACT
To understand the kind of benefits and issues that are associated with maritime laws, the worth of a vessel or a transportation vehicle - more formally entitled as the 'seaworthiness' of the vessel - is an important concept, which needs to be thoroughly understood and comprehended by all those involved in the monitoring and controlling one or more vessels working under their name. Companies and organizations involved in the maritime industry must be in a position to defend their vessel if, in any case, if the vessel or liner or ship may have experienced and yielded signs of fault and flaw that could otherwise cause delays in the delivery of any deadline, thereby causing loss of several millions of dollars to the company and at the same time experiencing inability to maintain strong, promising and long-term relationship with clients and abiding by rules and regulations of host and guest countries. This research study has been undertaken for the purpose of understanding the concept of seaworthiness and unseaworthiness of vessels, liners and different options of transportation that are being utilized through sea. The study focuses on the background of seaworthiness and at the same time how has it influenced the changes that are experienced in the world today. On a conclusion, the research study tends to yield answers regarding cases that are of the same genre and that the overall findings and outcomes regarding the impact that seaworthiness of a vessel.
