Therefore, the application of descriptive statistics on the data reveals that the average sale of Nero Salad is greater than the average sales of the rest of the brand (Spiegel, Stephens, 2008, 109-124). Therefore, it can be interpreted that by the end of the year Nero Salad will have greater market share. The brand that would be most in need of a revitalization effort now would be Augustus Salad because the average sale of Augustus brand is 7.4 million which is less than rest of the brands. The brand also needs revitalization because the rest of the brands have portrayed the patterns of sales which vary in percentage from one year to another. On the other hand, the brand that is likely to have undergone revitalization is Augustus brand as the analysis of its sales indicates that the sales of brand are enhancing each year (2 million - 5 million - 6 million - 8 million - 16 million) and soon the brand will attain enhanced market share.

Question 3

The analysis of the qualitative survey conducted for Cesar Salad enlightens that the target market is satisfied from the taste and value added benefits offered by the brand. Consumers perceive Cesar Salad as tasty and light as compared to other brands trading in the market. The consumers preferring Cesar Salad have depicted that they have never regretted their decision of purchasing particular brand which is great achievement for a brand trading in a competitive market. Yet, some consumers assert that they are unwilling to continue their purchase pattern if Cesar Salad enhanced its price.
