Introduction

Freud has identified the sexual experiences as one of the greatest influences on the human life, as it has an impact on the majority of the decision taken by an individual. The childhood phase can be identified as one of the most significant phases in the life of a person. The experiences in this age can have a dramatic effect on the personality and the psychological development. Tony had to experience a very vivid and traumatic incident in the early phase of his life. The negative factor in this incident was that he was completely aware of the situation and was able to comprehend the entire scenario. It is due to this reason that Tony is not able to move on from that traumatic sexual encounter in his childhood, and is still affected by it in his adult life. Since he is completely aware of the incident that took place, and has a conscious memory of the event; he feels responsible for the scenario. Any sexual activity that Tony participates in, leads him to relive the horrible past experience, where he was raped by another boy on a camping trip. This is a very negative psychological condition that Tony is experiencing, which is impacting his ability to have a long term intimate relation with a female.
