Children's Experiences Being Raised in a Same Sex Parent Household
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the qualitative research based on the project that focuses on the experiences of children rising in the same-sex parental care. Moreover, the experience is compared with the behavior and of children living in heterosexual parental care. Based on the stats and data produced by different researchers, numbers of children have been analyzed living with lesbian and gay parent. Furthermore, the family dynamic and the effect on these children living with same-sex parents have been analyzed, to have better understand and compassion with heterosexual parental cared children.

Introduction
Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people with children are one of the most vulnerable groups in the LGBT Community. But to this day, in United States, there are no reliable data or of the size of this group, no real problems with which it for x- converges to face. All the work of LGBT organizations with LGBT parents build on the basis of fragmentary data obtained from the Internet and personal communication, as well as the experience and intuition of curators projects working with this group. Another source of information is the results of Western Research LGBT parents, who certainly cannot be considered completely relevant to the American reality. This situation has reduces the efficiency of the process, and its quality as work is almost blind.
To overcome this situation, need complex research of the group of LGBT parents. As a first step, we decided to focus group, the purpose of which was to identify the problems / needs of the LGBT parents and children living in same-sex and transgender families. The study was conducted in December 2009 at the St. Petersburg LGBT organization "Coming Out"
The study involved the target group, represented by two segments: a) LGBT parents are already raising children, and b) the LGBT preparing become parents (with different methods). The participation of both segments Task Force is just as important to produce the most accurate, of the representation of LGBT parenting in general, in United States, in particular.
In addition, the involvement of both groups of LGBT parents to develop in- dimensional strategy to solve their problems and meet their needs contributes to the achievement of goals such as unity of the community, increased its civic engagement and its acceptance of social responsibility, responsibility (Biblarz & Stacey, 2010).
