Introduction

Salvation basically refers to saving anyone form harm and the dependence o f Christian salvation is the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as humanity was saved from sins because of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is important to understand that salvation is different from restoration and redemption. The core purpose of salvation was to pay for the sins of the mankind. The message in salvation is that Jesus Christ was sent to this world by God to save mankind from the sins that were borne by them. A brief discussion on the analysis of the purpose and message of salvation is presented in this paper to explore the concept of salvation.

Discussion

The core focus of Christianity is that Jesus Christ is the Messiah of salvation and redemption both were performed by Jesus Christ at different times. It has been studied in the Scripture that His name shall be call Jesus for He shall save His people from the sins they conceived; this is presented as the work of salvation. The sin that was conceived by Adam had negative effects for the people, which resulted in the loss of life, loss of glory and also the breach of the covenant. This sin affected not only the sinner but also affected the immediate environment. Since the covenant was once broken, it needed to be reestablished again. It is obvious that Jesus Christ came with a better and new covenant. The coming of Jesus Christ to this world was a precious gift from God to His people (Baldovin, 2003). It is also not wrong to say that the coming of Jesus Christ into this world was of dual nature; spiritual while coming from God and physical while coming in the form of a human.
