This Indiana indigenous was born on 8th December, 1977 as Ryan Joseph Newman (Zimbalist, 2010). He is one of the very few NASCAR racers who hold a degree to their names. Ryan started racing at the age of four with sprint cars, midgets, quarter midgets and silver crown cars. It was for all time a childhood dream of Newman to contest with the giants of NASCAR.
