Organizational development is the systematic process of implementing change to increase the effectiveness of an organization and individual development. The purpose of organizational development to implement change; the change is done in effort to increase organizational effectiveness, similar to organizational psychology. Organizational development cannot be accomplished without to some extent delving into the realm of human behavior and delving into human behavior is the link between organizational psychology and organizational development. (University of Virginia Leadership Development Center, 2009).Organizational Development is important in our society today because organizations need development in order to achieve their missions and goals. In order to maintain competiveness, organizations must be willing to change. Organizations must continuously communicate with their employees and motivate them as well. With this employees will be able to trust and have confidence in their organization. In return turn employees will go along with the change with no resistance. (Mclean, G. N., Rothwell, W.
