Introduction

The media occident inherited a plurality of myths. This legacy has been exploited in the development of a political mythology, national or regional, but not before developing a science of politics as a discipline issue. The definition of the term myth is linked with belief, knowledge, symbolism, reality and fantasy. Myths are regarded as social phenomena explanatory stories, and stories that give meaning to these phenomena by integrating them into an ontology. Indeed, a speech not built randomly and form indicates the intent of this discourse .

The current media production is supporting its communication intentions on a platform consisting of images, signs and speeches invasion and also everyday space and, offer an interpretative perspective of reality. Today's world is attending a conception that privileges mass media of privacy and closing the world of re- presentation . The current controversy over the actions of some in the print media is the dissemination of sensational images of violence, and it has sparked a debate on the performance of the press against excessively violent societies. There are issues that are seen with some novelty, but for some years in the country the role of the media to violence has lost its informative to take a stance against the problem.

We will see that the myth can be seen as a simple fable or, conversely, as a sacred discourse of the highest importance for society rather than let the notion of myth dissolve into the profusion of approaches, we will retain some characteristics of this type of discourse. We can then consider the mythical and discourse as social constructions of meaning and understanding of the news and the role of these characteristics in the construction of news.

In this sense, if you consider that the profit news is what, in the mass media, drives the journalistic task is to consider that there are at least relegated functions to inform, entertain and educate the public, which is not to question about the ethics of the media, but start thinking about what aspects come into play when the production of news content. Indeed, the news is not given facts that the journalist merely forwarded but constructions made by the media and, therefore, include a particular view of reality. News may be defined as a true fact, unpublished or current interest, which communicates to an audience that may be considered massive, once it has been collected, interpreted and valued by subjects promoters that control the means used for dissemination.

Through the process of interpretation and evaluation construction of the news in media is based on events that are cutting themselves to make reality.
