Introduction

This essay is based on the critical evaluation of article “Alternate Framework Designs for Removable Partial Dentures”. The article briefly reveals that removable partial denture is less appreciated as compare to fixed partial denture. The fixed partial denture replaces missing teeth and prevents the movement of surrounding teeth. This option is aesthetically acceptable and works correctly, as long as the teeth on which supports (pillars) are sufficient and are in good condition.
