Introduction

Ronald Reagan was born February 6, 1911 in Tampico (Illinois), the son of John Edward Reagan and Nellie (Wilson) Reagan. According to family legend, looking at the baby, his father said: "He's like a little fat Dutchman, but who knows, maybe one day he will become president of America." These words were prophetic.
