Role of Black Women and Biblical Proverbs 31: 10-31

The biblical proverbs 31: 10-31 appreciates the position and stature of a wife and highlights the essentials of a good wife. The verses drive through the Godly classification of women's character, skills (textile arts, culinary arts, management skills) and her relationship with her husband. The biblical verses of virtuous women are crafted to guide women what wives they should make and what wives the men should desire and choose. While women of Godly character are certainly beautiful, these verses aim at classifying the internal characteristics that distinguishes a woman and what a man should look for.

The biblical proverbs 31:10-31 defines women character as confident, courageous, dignified, diligent, early riser, faithful, generous, industrious, influential, kind, moral, active, observant, organized, prudent, reverential, sensible, trustworthy, well nurtured and astute decision maker. The core characteristic of women that attain her position of a noble wife is her relationship with her husband and management of household. A wife can be tremendous influence for good and evil and thus, her desire shall always be for her husband, she should be utilizing her strengths to nurture her household for a prosperous future. Women should instill confidence of her husband by her actions, words and beliefs, this aims at building trustworthy relationships.
