The story of “Squatter” is a hilarious plus problematic version of Mistry that describes the depiction of author's mastery. The short story portrays the challenges faced by immigrants for adjusting in the environment of foreign countries. Mistry is sharp enough to put forward his message through his tremendous story. The theme of the story circulates around the compound and variable shades of happiness, which is evident by its great depiction of characters. The story of Mistry has various themes in it that describes the different prospectus to appeal their characters. For instance, Sarosh's complexity in adjusting to the Canadian toilet is a sarcastic way to show few of the issues confronted by immigrants. He was used to squat at his home town and now in the Canadian tradition, toilets are designed to another way which was not acceptable for Sarosh to easily adjust with it. This clearly portrays about your brought up and your culture, which is really tough to forget and ignore it.
