The 1ON thruster was designed for MON-3/MMH propellants. The thruster is radiation chilled and values fuel-barrier cooling to sustain sleeping room partition temperatures at grades adequately reduced to double-check the thruster encounters propellant throughput requirements. The thruster was conceived for stationkeeping on geostationary satellites and has been completely trained for this objective utilising solenoid valves. The thruster was designed for operation with propellants at a nominal temperature of 21C (70F).
