Traditional designs are practically independent of each other and have dedicated students and totally focused on the end result. In this type of management, students take complete control of project activities and can have a kind of leadership needed for that type of project. That is, the focus of management will be defined by the characteristics of the project. For example, engineering design software should have a more participative leadership and that should motivate the development of creative team; already civil engineering projects should have a more authoritarian leadership and an attitude that will not tolerate errors, due to the nature of the project (Kerzner, 2013).
Project students should be focusing on multiple activities and processes of the projects managed with extreme attention to interactions and interdependencies between projects. For the students of multiple projects, in addition to the typical features of a traditional project member they must possess complementary skills and typical of that context. This student has no time to devote to the deep details of each project and must rely on software process and well structured to ensure monitor the development of projects. The project multiple member, different from traditional project members, must exercise leadership types according to the characteristics of the project and the people involved.

Interpersonal skills
Leadership, communication, team management, problem solving and conflict management;
Strategic skills
A sense for business, concern for the client, integration capability, strategic thinking, awareness for profit and cost;
Intrapersonal skills
Entrepreneurship, creativity, and have to be visionary sense competitive;
Technical skills
Product applications, general concept of technological products and trends, knowledge of tools and techniques related to the products and skills to solve problems.
