Introduction

The technology of computer and Internet has benefited many individuals in many ways. To date, these remain the most commonly used, most convenient and relatively cheaper means for both retrieval of information and communication purposes. However, besides all these benefits and advantages, this technology has also become a reason for some of the very serious ethical and moral crimes that include Copyright violations, display of unauthentic information, pornography, fake email accounts and most importantly hacking of accounts. Another more commonly used name given to this term is Cyber Attack and can be defined as an attempt to access, retrieve, damage, disrupt, or corrupt any unauthorized information, computer, computer network, or electronic network for communications. Cyber attacks are one of the most commonly observed crimes in current times and most sensitive and confidential information is accessed, corrupted and used for various illegal purposes through this crime.

Problem Statement

The scenario includes the computer system of Fort Lauderdale Airport's has completely shut down. However, the reason is unknown yet. All the departments of the airport are left with no information and guidance whatsoever to manage the ticket booking, monitoring of the flights and guiding the passengers. Accurate technologies and methodologies should be used to recover the data, proceed with the pending tasks and prevent future occurrence of such plans.

With no information of the schedule, route and destinations of the flights, there can be several followed consequences, which may include inconvenience to the least, and accidents of huge intensity at extreme levels. It will also become almost impossible for the airport authorities and officials to guide properly their passengers to their flights and other mandatory actions. Security measures will also be effected which will just make the airport more vulnerable to more violent threats. The financial loss that the airport and the Government ultimately will have to bear will be massive.

However, the most obvious population that will be affected as a result of this scenario will simply be the passengers.
