John Updike “A & P”

John Updike's “A & P” was not the best or even the most interesting piece that I have read. However, out of all of the stories that I have read for this class, “A & P” left me with the most questions. I think after reading the story several times, Updike wanted us to realize that Sammy had a choice to make.
