Introduction

Organizations operating in a complex and dynamic environment adapt diverse and changing demands that require flexibility. This is conceptualized in the context of the strategy as a set of qualities that are reflected under certain conditions. The need for flexibility in the strategy

The successful implementation of the strategy is not absolute guarantee that the progress of actions to be carried out consistent with the changing demands of the business environment. "The constant change in all components of the business environment, and consequently, the expiration date are born with good strategic decisions, explains the difficulty for a company to continue to maintain a strong position in its market” (Michie, 2009, pp. 408-21). In order to maintain that position, not only in the market, but its ultimate goal of providing benefits to society, the company must achieve a process of adjusting his plans, control systems and allocation of tasks and responsibilities, which permit the recovery consistency with the environment, to carry out the planned strategy and, if necessary, introduce changes within the strategic design. This presupposes a certain level of flexibility in the strategy.
