Introduction

The study aims to provide a deeper insight into the Augusta Dwyer's book and two other documentaries to reflect the main theme within of all three literatures. All of them reflect the ways communities have sought to resist the impacts of globalizations and their efforts to deal with the historic underdevelopment while facing the numerous obstacles. The study intends to expound the grass root movement where the people or the volunteers at the local level were involved in bringing the significant change in the society. These documentaries are found to be a great source of learning how people lead the society to deal with the globalization and made an ample effort to eradicate the causes of poverty from the society.

The primary objective of this study is explain how the writers of these three literature have marvelously demonstrated the ways to tackle with the impacts of globalization through the grass root movement in each of the literature which is the main theme among these three literatures.

The Broke but Unbroken, published in 2011, is the astounding creation of the great writer Augusta Dwyer who is the extreme thoughtful and independent award winning journalist and authors of various books. The author has beautifully extenuates her journey across various under developed countries that include, Brazil, Indonesia, India and Argentina while portraying her experience meeting with the successful organizers of the winning grass root movements that were efficiently struggling against the poverty while coping up with the globalization. She attempts to highlight the struggles of people who are not the part of political party or the government but they are also the poor local people amongst the society who are trying to change the society with their integrity and efforts which have not been undertaken at the governmental level. These local people have created the movements and achieved the heap of success in ameliorating and bringing the drastic revolution in the conditions of the poor people by their endless efforts and provided the real solutions to the global chronic of extreme poverty. These real people have even risked their lives, homes and families to bring the real change in the world. They portrayed their story of success which merely depicted their empowerment, courage and motivation in dramatic potency of collective actions of local people (Dwyer, 2011).

In short, the author has introduced us the extraordinary and astonishing efforts of grass root movements of the courageous people in making a better living through reflecting their stories and actions which caused to bring the successful transformation in changing the world. She highlighted the positive outcomes of myriad growing social movements of the world specially the impoverished people from Brazil to Indonesia and Argentina to India. The local people of these under developed countries made somewhat similar stride to overcome the chronic issue of poverty on their own terms.
