The literacy rate in country (X) has improved tremendously as compared to its literacy rate in 1975. This increase though significant is not as much as other developed nations of the world. The number of students that want to get higher education has increased at an alarming rate. It is because the benefits that are obtained through higher education are very high. This has caused the higher education to be considered as valuable commodity. All those students that want to get an admission in the higher education institutions should be encouraged through transparent and fair system for admissions.
Like all other countries, the students of country (X) that want to get admission in the higher education institutions face difficulty in the admission process because the criteria for admission is not known. The students in country (X) apply for higher education institutions in their final year of secondary school. The numbers of applications that are received for such admission are the highest in country (X). Though these students do apply, they face many issues during their time of admission.
This research was conducted to determine whether the regulating authority of education was effectively managing the admission criteria for the students who want to obtain admission in the higher education institutes of country (X). The results of this research showed that though the government of country (X) is bringing reforms to change the educational system of country (X), these reforms are not sufficient. The admission criteria also required a transformation so that the students will not face any difficulty when they want to obtain admission in the higher education institutions of country (X). The government of country (X) should also try to bring more reforms in the higher education sector to ensure that its educational sector becomes align with the western universities.

Introduction
The number of students who want to attain a degree in higher education has increased at an enormous rate. The benefits of getting a higher education degree are very high because it can affect the job security, salary and power which will influence the society. Therefore, higher education is considered as a very valuable commodity. Every individual who wants to get a degree in higher education should be encouraged by the higher education institutions transparent and fair system for admissions for all the applicants that apply.
