Introduction

This paper is formulated to elucidate the understanding with the research project and the methodology derived to formulate the research. To successfully pursue this project, we are supposed to choose a business for which each of the student need to pursue the research on any particular aspect of the business. The business mode, which I have chosen is online selling and purchasing; whereas, the business is related to an online shopping store for cloths and other fashion accessories. This store is not associated with any particular brand, but it sells various different clothing and other fashion products for every age group. Thus, there are various brands - local or international - available on this online portal.

However, the research is designed in a manner that how these online shopping portals can develop trust in the audience. Because is observed that people do online shop from online stores, but only from the official online stores of brands. No individual is interested in shopping from online portals, which sell other clothing brands. The trust in such online vendors is relatively very low thus people do not prefer to go on such online portal (Brengman, & Karimov, 2012, pp. 802). The research objective of this paper is to elucidate the phenomenon that why people do not trust upon such online vendors, and do not prefer to shop from them - even though they provide such brands which are not available in the local market.

The purpose of this research is to measure the trust on such online shopping portal, which sells other clothing and fashion brands and does not have any product of its own. It just provides services to the people by making them available with such international clothing brands, which are not available in the local market - however, it also provides local clothing brands as well.

Nevertheless, this observable fact has a profound connection with the particular set of behaviour, posed amongst the audience, which has got considerable association with the venture.

Devoid of deviating from the rationale of this caption; ASOS is principally an online shopping store that is offering an ample selection of fashion products and accessories for the audience of United Kingdom. It covers a broad collection of stylish, trendy and designer-wear clothes, footwear, bags, sunglasses, watches, jewellery and added accessories related to the similar category. There are more than hundred different brands available at ASOS; amongst them most are international ...
