This research paper discusses the social impact of health and illness on patients including their response mechanism. The study attempts to describe how class, gender and other social experiences of the individuals influence the way people think about health, and how one can sue it for ones advantage. In addition, it also take into account the theories of various scholars and academics which elaborate the matter in more detail and provide the reasons behind public perception of health in the society.
Introduction
The objective of this research paper is to analyze and discuss the various socio-economic issues related to health and illnesses in modern day society. The purpose of this research is to differentiate between objective and subjective perspectives of illnesses and to understand the importance of both in the medical field and its impact on individual patient and society. It will obtain such analysis by analyzing and evaluating the cultural impact of various definitions of illnesses and its relationship with the various social groups or classes in society.
Furthermore, it will also assess and evaluates the ways in which social experiences of the patients will affect their assumptions and expectations about health and illness. During this study we will examine in great length the social aspects of health and highlight the major points which influence health and illness of patients in modern day society.
Objective of the Research
The objective of the research is to identify and examine the various perceptions of the peoples' health related issues, and how their social experiences affect their sense of health and illness
Discussion on chosen topic
The reason why I have selected this topic is because after reviewing the related data, I felt that there is not enough study which has been undertaken by researchers in this area. In addition, this research will enable me to understand the subjective perception of people in this regard and how it affects their daily lifestyles.
Methodology
I will conduct this research by using qualitative approach which will enable be understand the subjective point of new of the participants selected for this research. I will be selecting 20 males and 20 females for this research and conduct focus group study.

Objective and subjective views on illness
The subjective view is most of the time is considered the perspective of the patients about their health. The reason why we say that they have subjective view point about their health is because they don't have enough medical knowledge and experience to identify the reason behind their illness. On the other hand, the perspective or opinions of the medical practitioners are objective and logical since they have the required knowledge and experience to accurately identify the illness of their patients and to take measure that would treat the illness before it escalates any further.
