Discussion

Literature ReviewThe literature review on the diabetes mellitus discusses about the types, causes, philosophy and the path physiology and the treatment of the diabetes. There are different types for the treatment of diabetes such as orally administered along with the insulin I injection for the treatment of diabetes. The diabetes mellitus is simply a complex chronic disease. It is the disease that is featured by the level of glucose in the blood, a hormone that is being produced by the pancreas known as insulin, which controls the level of the glucose in the blood by the regulation of the storage along with the production of the glucose. In the disease of the diabetes there is decrease in the ability of bodies that respond to the insulin or decrease in the insulin that leads to the abnormalities in the metabolism of proteins, carbohydrates and fats. This result in the hyperglycemia that might lead to the acute complications in the metabolism that also includes the keto acidosis and might cause micro vascular chronic complications ( Smeltzer and Bare 1992). Phipps describes diabetes mellitus as the chronic disorder or the chronic disease that is caused by the disruption of the normal carbohydrates protein and the fats metabolism and also the development of the micro and the macro vascular complication and the neuropathies.

Black and Matassarin Javcobs (1993) define diabetes mellitus as the metabolic disorder that is being characterized by the intolerance of glucose. It is a type of systemic disease that is caused by the imbalance between the supply and the demand of insulin. It may be from 3 years children to 25 years adults). According to the friderichen and Maunbach (1997) the diabetes is diagnosed by the causal plasma glucose of 11.1 mm 1/L or higher or the fasting glucose plasma of 7mm 1/L or higher. According to the Baumann Chang and hoebeke (2002) the prevalence of the diabetes in higher in the groups of the minorities and those people who have the disadvantage of the socioeconomically disadvantage but there is no reason for that.
