Research on Anthropology: Human Nutrition

Introduction

Anthropometry is the study, which is associated with the measurements of the different constituents and determinants of the human body and its health conditions. The results, which are achieved, are then used to rationally measure/compare the predetermined benchmarks. The study of anthropometry is typically used by nutritionists, health care professionals, and physiologist in order to identify the risks, which are associated with the body fats. However it is not necessary that the body fats are signifying the obesity; too less body fat is also equally serious concern.

The basic purpose of this study is to find the results and infer the conclusion and the discussion on the basic of the statistical analysis, which are to be extracted from the data set, which we have with us.

Aims and Objectives

There are other contemporary methods of getting the exact results; however, these techniques are often used for research work because they tend to be very expensive, time consuming, and impractical to be used in field evaluations, gym environments and healthcare settings To solve the problems that outlined above a number of field techniques methods used such as Skin fold (SkF) tests, bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA), circumference measures, and near infra-red interactance (NIR), are all doubly indirect, and are based upon regression models devised by comparing measure to criterion measurements (Williams, Going, Milliken, Hall & Lohman, 1994, Swan & McConnell, 1999) and therefore opposite to the expensive tests, tends to be less accurate and reliable, in most of the cases.

Hypothesis

HI = on an average the nutritional indicators reflects statistically same value for Group A and Group B

H0 1 = on an average the nutritional indicators reflects statistically different value for Group A and Group B

H2 = on an average the standard nutritional value are statistically equal to the daily intake recorded

H2 0 = on an average the standard nutritional value are statistically unequal to the daily intake recorded

Study Population

For gauging the values, on the nutritional indicators, we have take two distinct groups, named as Group A and Group B, and have tested their values for significant similarities or differences.

Likewise the daily customized nutrition intake was gauged for its nutritional values against the Win Diet data; The Nutrient Databank is Crown copyright and has been reproduced under license from the Controller of Her Majesty's Stationery Office. USDA Release 12, 1998.

Methods

The primary data was collected, in order to find the accurate at the contemporary results, which can further be used as the reference for the upcoming studies.

There are numerous methods, which can be used in order to find the rational research results. However, for this specific paper, we will be using various methods, including Independent Sample T-test, ANOVA, Regression and simple descriptive statistics, including mean, medium standard deviation and variances. Some of the methods, mentioned above are complex, however they will provide a strong base for the explanations and therefore the interpretations will have highly ...
