Introduction

It has been widely observed that the racial and ethnic factors of minorities are responsible for the disparities in the healthcare system (Brondolo et al., 2009). The identification of the factors including the perception of society is important in understanding the issue of unequal distribution of health care services that are provided to the people belonging to minority group. This paper discusses the prevalence of perception among the minorities group that they receive lower quality of health care services.

Problem Statement

The prevalence of perception among the minorities that they receive lower quality of health care services due to inequality and injustice in the delivery of health care system (Cohen, 2008).

Purpose Statement

The purpose of the paper is to identify the factors that lead to the prevalence of disparities among the health care service providers which results in lower quality healthcare delivery to the minority group people.

Research Design

The research study is an exploratory research that intends to explore the perceptions of disparities in health care system among minorities residing in Dallas County, Texas. The exploration of such disparities and unequal distribution of health care services will involve the case study methodology. The case studies of different patients who have experienced the disparities in the health care delivery system due to their particular racial or ethnic background that associates them to a minority group of people. The case study method is appropriate to understand the description of the problems of the minority patient who have experienced disparities in the health care system.

Research Methods
