Introduction

The article that has been selected for critique is Understanding Nursing Research: Building an Evidence Based Practice. This book is written by Nancy Burns and Susan K. Grove. It is significant that this study provided an overview of the study which includes the background problem, and rationale for exploring the issue along with the research methods, results and conclusion. The reader could also have an unambiguous thinking while reading the study. The core purpose of this paper is to present a critique of the selected article that has been selected for critical analysis.

Discussion

The purpose for conducting this study has been clearly identified to explore the understanding the nursing research. It has been observed that the authors have emphasized on defining an evidence based practice based that plays a vital role in understanding the research practices in the nursing profession. The manner in which this research study was carried is very logical. This research study is presented in a very logical and systematic manner. Each section in the selected research study is defined with separate subheadings which our supplemented with tables and graphs for explanation of the findings. This makes the concepts defined in the research study very clear for the readers of this study.

The literature review that has been presented in this study is defined in a very fine manner and makes the basis of the overall study presented in this article. It is very significant that the responsibilities of nursing practitioners on account of their patients. It is very important for the nurses to provide high quality care to their patients for making them well from their illnesses.
