Purpose of the Study and Significance
The aim of this research is determining if particular results are significant and standard of care by specialist evidence in any lawful case could be identified by radiologist screened to clinical outcome and legal action. The authors have provided significant aim of the study and it is clearly communicated, as there is the question for the standard of care by the External Radiologists. There are several challenges for radiologist while interpretation of the data. This evaluation is well achieved when the entire interpreters execute under the similar condition and within the similar clinical information. The purpose of this research is significant for the US healthcare industry. While reviewing the research there were no difficulties.
Quantitative and Qualitative
Qualitative and quantitative research methods and strategies used in the literature and in research practice often seen as largely independent domains. As the research based to the clinical trial the methodology for this research is quantitative so that the complete set of information with the statistical facts and figure comes as the result. A quantitative approach of the study is to collect and convert the information into an empirical form, which ultimately lead to the production of statistical data for research, which is the most appropriate method for this study. The concrete results help to give the clear direction of the research results. It finds concept that can encompass a part of reality (Creswell, 2008).
The Qualitative study focuses on understanding human behaviour from studying. It includes collection, analysis, trying to understand the causes and the importance of temperament and conflicting opinions, attitudes and actions. This particular approach is taken when the quantitative approach is not possible for the research and more elaborated data is required. This particular study does not required qualitative methodology (Green, Covell, 1953).
Source of Information and Collection of Data
Twenty Five radiologists that were board certified were contact through email and asked if they are interested in the diagnostic participation. The host institutions welcomed these radiologists and were asked to examine. These readers were not told about the legal perspective of these cases. There were altogether six CT images, two of these images were of major trauma, one case was in legal consideration, however the other three images were randomly selected. ...
