The purpose of conducting the research was to improve understanding of how nurses define or redefine medication error. Many problems arise in nursing because of this and this is the reason why it holds much significance in nursing.
Review of Literature and Framework
With regards to the literature review, the framework of the research is supported by the previous studies that have been made. It is important for the nurses to know the real error that exists to minimize these kinds of errors in the future and increase health rate of the patients.
Ethical Aspects
The main problem in the qualitative research is the probability of biasness for the selection of literature. Particularly in case of political researches or international relations this probability increases because the personal opinion of research might get in while selecting the articles and journals. However, prior to the information gathering stage, it was checked whether the information and data that has been used is valid and genuine. To attain this objective, information regarding the nature of the study was presented prior to conducting qualitative research.
Research Design
For this research, the design chosen for qualitative descriptive. Quantitative analysis allows in establishment of the absolute and relative measure of the considered features and properties of objects and phenomena and to identify the extent or strength of their manifestation.
