The company started its burger brand in the year of 1940, when Dick and Mac, two brothers opened their first McDonald's in California and San Bernardino. Primarily they started with the hotdog stand but after initiating their restaurant chain they started serving twenty five items that most based on barbequed. McDonald's is been always a profitable and popular teen hangout. In the year of 1948, Dick and Mac reopened their restaurants to sell just milkshakes, hamburgers and fries. Their hamburgers were the main revenue generating item which was selling out at the normal price of 15 cents. In this regard, the restaurant started developing and getting fame among the people and finally Dick and Mac begin franchising McDonald in 1953.
