Abstract

The studies mentioned by Drake and Deegan provide an analysis about the role of electronic devices in the treatment of people who are suffering from mental health diseases. The researches provide a view about the factors that effect on decision making of either to give electronic aids to people who suffer from mental issues. It has mentioned in the research that decision making is a process where the patients decide the type of treatment he or she wants. The doctors or the practitioners on the basis of the evidence collected by the different studies suggest a treatment that is accepted by the patients. The studies also found that the importance given to the values of the customers and listening to the customers, have increased the level of satisfaction in the customers. The studies show that electronic aid has led towards a decline in the mental disability. The study of Adams and Drake (2006) also found that increasing accurate information sharing process, communicating all the relevant information to the customer will help the practitioner to develop a good relationship with the client who helps both in the decision making process and improvement of mental health of a person.

According to Deegan, Woltman and Drake (2010) there have been several studies conducted to find out the best treatment for the people suffering from several kinds of mental health problems. In order to treat people suffering from mental diseases it is significant to make the decision about which kind of treatment should be applied on the people having these problems. The most recently used methods are electronic treatment, different kinds of therapies and medication to the patients. The researchers have found in their study that people who take electronic treatments for longer time periods are able to recover more significantly as compared to patients taking medicines. Medication is a solution for those people who have mental problems from many years. On the other hand decision making of either to give a person electronic aid or not plays a very important role. It is important to give respect to the customer values and listening to what the customers want. It is important to make decision about the treatment by involving clients. It is necessary to take practitioners help in increasing the satisfaction of the customers and decreasing the symptoms of mental health.
