The designated research that has been the pivotal point of this article primarily aimed to analyze the key relation between the trend of the cannabis use and tobacco smoking among the smokers or individuals that are in between the mid and late teen. This endeavour primarily undertook two qualitative studies, which were based in Scotland. Both the studies had varying participants of different ages, and also the qualitative approaches. For the first group the qualitative approach employed pertained to semi structured paired interviews that primarily focused on the children between the age group of 16 to 19 years old (smokers). The total number of participants was 99. For the other group, focus group formed the basis of the qualitative research. The age group for the other group was between 14 to 16 years, comprising of a total of eight focus group encompassing 46 participants. The basic objective of the measurement resides at the fact of acknowledging the significance and the prime role of smoking in their respective lives. Furthermore, the measurements also accentuated on the history of smoking, their future intentions of stopping it, and the impact it entails on other aspects of their lives. The findings revealed that most of the users relished the induction or usage of cannabis in their lives, and graded as an enjoyable part. Moreover, an interestingly revelation found its way articulating that for these young children, the smoke and cannabis are interrelated to a significant extent. They further revealed that for them the smoking joints paved ways in to the smoking habits. There was a substantial chunk that showed the motivation or desire to quit, yet the reinforcement my cannabis abstained them from doing so; however, there was other children who showed no apparent intention of quitting at all. The study leaves a naive yet cognitive mind to conclude that it is highly imperative that such studies are conducted on a more broader spectrum, such as national level, in order to assimilate to basic extent of this issue in the region, and the relevant measures for enabling and assisting the children to quit and overcome the barriers that are impeding this initiatives by them. The abstract was really comprehensive and good. It revealed all the relevant information about the article that the reader would assimilate, via just reading it.
