Significance of meeting information requirements of management

Today's business environment is bombarded by the large amount of information and data. These information and data are available from number of sources moreover the information and data is so dynamic in nature that they must be accessible and available at the right time. In order to make a timely and correct strategic decision the management must be provided with sufficient amount of information. Having the right information at the right time and at the right place is important and crucial in decision making. The three most important points that needs to be rolled out in the first phase of the rollout plan are:

Provide computing capability to all organizational units that legitimately require it.

Provide computing services in a reliable, professional, and technically competent manner.

Allow organizational units sufficient autonomy in the conduct of their tasks to optimize creativity and performance at the unit level.
