Introduction

Toyota is one of the well known leaders in the automobile industry of the world. There are a number of sales outlets and car manufacturing and assembling plants of Toyota spread all across the world that has placed the company in the list of top global leaders in automobile industry. Toyota has manufactured and assembled a wide range of cars for their target market. The unique and diverse range of the car models has significantly contributed to the development, progression and success of the company by attracting a large range of customers. The demand for the products of Toyota has been increasing across the world and it has been observed that people tend to prefer Toyota cars over others.

This study discusses the customer inclination towards Toyota cars and the factors that lead towards the increasing demand of Toyota. The type of study which I have used over here in this research paper is descriptive observation in order to find out the decision making and problem solving procedure of Toyota's product before its launch. This research analyzes the factors that have made Toyota the top choices of customers. Some of the most notable and popular cars of Toyota covered in the study involves Yaris, Toyota Prius C, Toyota Rukus, Toyota Prius, Toyota Prius V, Toyota Camry, Toyota 86 and Toyota Aurion. In addition, Toyota also offers a wide range of Hybrid cars to its customers. Some of the 4 wheeler drives (4WDs) and SUVs of Toyota involves Toyota RAv4, Toyota FJ Cruiser, Toyota Kluger, Toyota Prado, Toyota HIlux, Toyota Land Cruiser 70 and Toyota Land cruiser 200. Customers are also seems to be interested in buying the used cars of Toyota due to the reliability and performance of the Toyota cars.

Type of Study

This study undertakes primary data collection method which will be obtained through survey questionnaire involving both open and close ended questions. This study measures the demand of Toyota cars in terms of the customers' intention to buy the car brands of Toyota. The preference of customers is analyzed with respect to Toyota cars over other car brands.

Sampling

A sample of 50 people was selected to carry out the current study. The sampling has been done based upon the non probability sampling technique. The study does not involve random sample selection rather it selects the sample respondents based upon the nature of the study. The subjects are selected based upon their accessibility to take part in the research study.

Qualitative and Quantitative Research

The study involves both quantitative and qualitative research in order to find answers to the problem. Qualitative study involves the synthesizing and analyzing of data obtained from respondents of survey questionnaire.

Hypothesis

The customers prefer Toyota cars over other brands of cars

Secondary Data

The secondary data is undertaken for the research study. It involves past researches that relates to the topic and helps the researcher in formulating the research study.
