Renaissance art is categorized as a unique form of artistic presentations that signifies the importance of humans as individuals and draws upon the old Greek culture and traditions. Michelangelo proved to be one of the most significant figures of the Renaissance period. His works are remembered for an epic depiction of renaissance arts that spoke of the “rebirth” of humans and the salvation of human civilizations. One can only wonder how one man could produce so many works of art during one of the most productive and creative periods for painting and sculpture (McNeese, 23).
