Comprehensive Health Care

The purpose of the modern hospital is the "Health" of the community and not the disease, by implementing the four basic functions of Care: Promotion, Protection, Recovery and Rehabilitation of Health. To enable the latter, the Hospital should become the natural agent monitoring the health status of the community. To achieve these ends, acting on spontaneous demand is insufficient, so you must take the initiative to expand within the community itself, not only in the human but also social and natural environment.

Teaching

Medical teaching is very important to get improved and considered to be the major core function to be emphasized. It is currently considered to perform functions of education is an imperative for the hospital, and aimed at improving its own staff or the community Health Education or actions. If possible, promoting university education for students and Graduates of the health sector can also be beneficial (Gabris, 2005).
