About the book
The book “Four Views on Eternal Security”, written in 2002, is another installment of the Counterpoints series from Zondervan. It is a part of another fifteen volumes that range from the subject matter of the women in ministry to miraculous gifts, from millennium to the hell. This specific volume of the series addresses one of the most important issues that prevail in the history of the Church that is the perseverance of saints. It raises the issue that all those who came to save the faith in Christ preserve or the believer who born-again may apostatize and forfeit the salvation again? In short this book allows and helps readers to shift from opposing views to their own informed destinations or conclusions. The authors has discussed and presented the traditional Calvinist view point of TULIP that is associated with the Calvinist theology. TULIP stands for Total Depravity, Unconditional Election, Limited Atonement, Irresistible grace, and Perseverance of the Saints.
