Introduction

Young people who have ambivalent feelings in their nature tend to be very much doubtful of strangers. These people show distressing and stressful moods when separated from caregivers or guardians, but do not appear free from worry as parents return back to them. In some situations, these young people may inertly refuse the close relative be turning down comfort, or may directly show violent behavior towards the caregivers (Bar-Haim and Dan, 2007. In adults, ambivalent emotions often make them unwilling to get close to others and distress that their partner does not respond to their emotions. This directs to breakup in relationships, often due to the relation appears isolated and meaningless. These kinds of people feel hysterical after the end of a relation. This forms the background of this paper where it would shed light on my personal reflection that why or why not ambivalent feelings towards a person make person feel more strain than someone towards whom he or she feel exclusively disapprovingly.

Thoughts on Findings of the Article

Article addresses the subject matter of ambivalent feelings in a relation and the consequential dynamics related to it. Previous studies were carried out on emotional strain recuperation, healing actions and experiences. Article by Ragsdale, Beehr, Grebner, and Han (2011) integrated previous studies on the subject of strain improvement by advancing the knowledge and assessing the recovery constructs within a single framework. Authors have proposed an integrated model of the strain-recovery procedure that takes account of workaday stressors and weekend recovery performances, emotional development activities and outcomes. Findings recommend that taking part in particular recovery behavior and supplemented it with biased recovery practices decrease negative emotional results (Ragsdale; Beehr; Grebner and Han, 2011).
