Introduction
Under the Health and Safety Information for Employees and Employers at Leicester City have a duty to either display an approved poster in a prominent position in their workplace or give employees an approved leaflet.
The poster/leaflet summaries wellbeing and security regulation and interprets what both employers and workers must do to hold the workplace safe. Contact details are furthermore supplied if workers want recommendations or have anxieties about their security at work.
On 6th April 2009 the HSE commenced a new type of the poster and leaflet (which now arrives in the form of a pouch card). The new type is considered to be more eyes catching easier to read and has a centralised communicate number which means employers do not have to revise the poster themselves with the minutia of their Local Authority.

Businesses and personal organisations can hire the Swingo and its driver/operator from the assembly to keep their building clean or carry out clear-up procedures at the site of events. In the eight years that the service has been operating David Atkins has seen a gradual boost in take-up. As well as foremost employers in the town, such as Walkers Crisps, the Trade Service Swingo also cleans up after home sport by Leicester Tigers Rugby Club and the city's Premier League football team. It is furthermore operated at schools, garage forecourts and many other locations.
"I am very satisfied with the way that the service has developed," David Atkins says. "The original notion was to gain sufficient business so that the sweeper paid for itself and, possibly, provided some extra investment into the department.
