Regional Tourism Demand & Supply
My proposed location for my business “Auckland on ice” is based right by Snow Planet in North shore. North Shore City is famous for its amazing beaches. There are abundance of scenic seashores for surfing, swimming, or relaxing, glassy lakes for sport fishing and water sports, mountain ranges for skiing and snowboarding, and native forests for exploration. Since the country is recognized as the 'Adventure Capital of the World', thrills of every kind can be found in close proximity, from jet boating to bungee jumping and from skydiving to white-water rafting. There are lots of wonderful things to see and do at North shore of Auckland for everyone, ranging from seaside shopping areas to miles of coastline to explore. More established suburbs of the city- Northcote and Birkenhead are well-known for their galleries and boutique art studios. Beach reserves are also possessed by North Shore City together with coastal pathways that pass by the side of beaches and over cliff tops. Perambulating these areas, along with stopovers to artists in their personal studios with an opportunity to visit local parks and cafes are the major activities at North Shore City. Natural thermal pools, bubbling mud pools and shooting geysers are provided by geothermal hotspots. A must-see for animal lovers at North Shore is its incredible wildlife. Spectacular scenery is also abundant in national parks located at the area that are ideal for tramping. In the north of the city, Long Bay Regional Park has picturesque hikes, safe swimming, gliding, picnicking, barbecues, a restaurant and an adventure playground for children.
