Introduction

The module of Leadership and Management was aimed to focus and demonstrate on developing skills and knowledge in the students. Its goal was to make the students responsible and enhance their potentials so that they can be good managers and leaders in the future. The module examined the organizations in context of their environment, functions, culture, standards and the way they are operating. It was designed in a way to make students know that how organizations can be lead effectively by first leading oneself. The overall course material and discussions have been really effective and beneficial for the students.

During the course we have learnt several concepts related to management and leadership, which has influenced and affected our personal and professional lives. The module has been really helpful for me in many ways. The learning outcomes of the course were tremendously helpful in my life, and have helped in evaluating the political and social environment along with its impact on the organizations. It has also helped in learning the leadership skills and how to lead people and organization. Every lesson of the module was helpful in some way, and was useful in personal and practical life (Chaleff, 2003).

This module has helped students in realizing that every human being has the ability to lead and manage, and they possess the skills of managers and leaders. This course has helped in enhancing the leadership and management skills in each student of my class, and it has definitely brought changes in me and my skills. The enhancement has truly been helpful, and will definitely help more in the future. This course has proved itself to be very helpful for all those people who are willing to improve their leadership and management styles and skills.

Reflective Journal

A Reflective Journal is commonly known as a reflective log, which is made by people as a record of their own personal learning. The reflective journal is made by people for their personal evaluation of what they have learnt throughout their learning process, and how they can implement what they have learnt in their personal and professional lives. In this reflective journal, I have tried to make a record of what I have learnt during this course and module. This journal will help me in analysing whatever I have learnt and understood during the course and will help me in implementing it in my future (Raja and Palanichamy, 2000, pp. 15-23)

Topic Exploration

During the module, as a student, I have been able to learn many concepts related to the organizations. Leadership is an important concept, which needs to be focused on. Every leader needs to possess some skill and abilities, which helps in leading others. These skills can be developed by learning the concepts and ways to develop skills.
