Reflections

The paper is based on the reflections on what have been learnt about the role of family, school, and community in child development. In action plan 3 the issues related to child maltreatment are discussed. It is discussed that childhood maltreatment is a widespread risk factor for anti-social behavior. Children who are exposed to abuse along with coercive, punitive and erratic parenting are at a risk of developing disorder, becoming violent offenders and developing antisocial personality symptoms.
