Research Method and process

The research methodology chosen for this research was both primary and secondary data analysis. Primary data was selected because it provides first understanding of the market and also the hospitals with which Bira Care Limited is associated or accompanied. Different primary data will be needed such as the number of inpatients in the hospital, number of patients with low dependency, the vacant space for the construction of hospital hotel in the vicinity of hospital, the financial requirements and other similar data.

The other type of data acquired for this research was secondary data. Secondary data includes:

success of such business in other parts of the world

competitors in the market

position of the industry

different aspects or factors that are critical to the success and failure of the business idea

the market size

customers and

various other second hand data that is already available through valid and authentic sources

There are numerous techniques and methods are used by researchers in diverse nature of researches to gather the required secondary and primary data (Stawarski & Phillips, 2008, p. 1). For the purpose of carrying out a feasibility study for Bira Care Limited, both secondary and primary data is required.

Mixed strategy of interview questionnaires is the preferred method of data collection because it allowed a better sense of understanding of responses. Quantitative and qualitative data was collected from the responses of the hospital's management, administration, patients, families, and staffs.
