Reason for taking the course

My reason to take this course is that it will focus upon my abilities, regardless of career plans, and help me to grow in musicianship. Performance abilities encompass mechanical skill on an equipment or voice, proficiency to present in an ensemble, self-assurance and stage presence, and possibly most importantly, aesthetic judgment. Recognizing that each scholar brings a exclusive backdrop of preparation and aptitude to college-level melodies study, the department chooses to focus improvement and development rather than the attainment of a consistent mechanical standard.
