The Red Dust Healing Program focuses on the unity of the citizens and the indigenous people are selected as the target population. The main aim of the program is to release trauma of those people because colonization has produced greater effects on them. Colonization has found to be a stressful event and it creates many effects on the well being, life styles, appraisal processes, neuronal activity and behavior of the people (Bombay et al., 2009). These people can be brought out of traumatic conditions by organizing some training and counseling sessions for them. Studies have indicated that the trauma therapists have been successful in reducing the trauma effects that do not have any personal history (Pearlman et al., 1995). Different psychological treatment should be provided to the people who will help in eliminating the fear and effects of colonization from the people. Next step in the elimination of trauma after the counseling sessions will be the expressive session. Art exhibitions can be arranged for the indigenous people so that they can be able to reduce their feelings of hurt and stress by expressing themselves in the form of sketching and drawing. Painting can also be a good medium to communicate the feelings of anger and stress to the world. Painting is a normal human activity and it does not needs any training. Musical programs can be organized for the indigenous people because it will also result in reducing the effects of colonization.
