Introduction

Women have an enormous potential for increasing the sales of businesses which are of their interest. The Red Button Fashion Ltd. is a company which, which manufactures, and market women clothing, bags and accessories. It does not target any one country, but it caters women worldwide. It provides different and a wide range of a variety in fashion clothes and other products that it offers (DeKoven, 2004). Red button fashion created by Azar Sadeghi in London in 1994. The group have six employees, and have two shops in North and North west Of London. There are people working in sales team, delivery and packing, stock control, accountancy, mail services.

Findings of Red Button Ltd.

Red Button Ltd is a fashion industry which provides the largest categories of the women clothes. It located at the north of London, which is the centre of this industry. The premises of the shop are small, so managers cannot make an effort to keep large quantities of clothes, because of lack of space (Hjelm, 2009). They do not keep the inventory in its branch which got located in the North West London, due to the same problem of limited space. The boutique in the North West is small, so it does not have enough space to keep huge variety of the women clothing.

The warehouse of the company always remains full because of several reasons, from which the most obvious reason is the lack of space in the boutiques. Some more reasons can be low sales or continuous growth in sales, seasonal product demands, huge discount purchases and operation consolidation can reduce warehouse space. Warehouse remains full all the time is a problem for the Red Button Ltd because it makes stock controlling more difficult for it. If the warehouse got used inefficiently, then again the company can cause trouble for itself. It is not even feasible for the workers to manage the inventory blocks. The handling of extremely full inventory blocks is very difficult for the workers. The count of the product becomes difficult for employees working there. Red Button Ltd is facing the same problem due to full inventory blocks in the warehouse. It is difficult to find goods in such warehouse, and it can also cause injuries to the workers working there.

The staff working at the warehouse have a problem in classifying the inventory, and labelling them for the future use. Red Button Ltd does not have complete inventory system, through which it can main the inventory. They do not have the have exact records of inventory levels and location for easy retrieval. The mismanagement is to that extend, that sometime the customers of the Red Button Ltd call or email them, and request them to deliver them the correct order, and on time.
